Hi! I am Mrs. Merla. I am a second-grade teacher living in beautiful Oregon. I have worked in schools for more than ten years and have been a classroom teacher for first through third grade for six years.

I am excited to be working on this blog and sharing my anecdotes, tips, and resources with you. As I am fully fluent in German, many of my materials and resources will also be available in German.

When I am not teaching, I love reading, being outdoors and traveling with my husband.
